There is much fun in store for our students and faculty! Our goal is to provide support in as many areas as possible that will enhance the school life of our students and faculty. Want to get involved? Here's how:
Join the BHES PTA - memberships are only $4.00 per individual or $10.00 for the whole family. $2.75 of your dues will go directly to the National PTA and remaining funds will go into the BHES PTA budget to help us get started on the events, activities and initiatives we have planned. You are not required to attend monthly meetings (although we encourage you to come!); your support is vital to our ability to deliver on our plans for the school year. Serve as a BHES Volunteer - refer to the "Guide to Volunteering" that you received in your Facts & Fees packets. This will give you lots of helpful information on the important role our volunteers serve all year long. You will also find a description of all the opportunities available to serve as a volunteer. Our students need you! Our faculty needs you! There is a place for you at BHES; simply follow the process for becoming a volunteer and join us for a rewarding and fun experience. There are 3 easy steps to complete the process to volunteer: Complete the Dorchester District 2 Application for Volunteer Service, Complete the BHES Volunteer Form and Attend one Volunteer Orientation Session. Both forms can be found in your Facts & Fees packets. The next Volunteer Orientation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 7, 2011 at 5:30 in the Media Center. We hope to see you there! Your BHES PTA Board Kellie, Angie, Leisa, Wilhelmina and Denise Calling All Hands on Deck!As we begin another wonderful year at our beloved Beech Hill, here are a few quick reminders for getting involved as a BHES Volunteer. Volunteer Orientation Sessions Scheduled September 7th at 5:30pm September 22nd at 8:30am Location for both sessions will be the BHES Media Center Don’t Forget your Forms! In addition to attending one session of the Volunteer Orientation, our District office and BHES requires our volunteers to complete 2 forms prior to beginning volunteer work at our school. You will find both forms in the packets you received at Facts & Fees. Look for the Guide to Getting Involved (purple cover sheet) and the back 2 pages are blank forms for your use. You will need to fully complete the front and back of the Dorchester District 2 Application for Volunteer Service and the BHES Volunteer Form. After completion, simply return to school in your child’s communication folder and our teachers will deliver to the appropriate mailbox for processing. Thank you for your cooperation – the process to begin volunteering at BHES is fairly quick and easy and helps us to keep the safety and security of our children as the #1 priority! Group Web Pages |
